Job Description

- Job Title: children nursery attendant        

- Department:        Community Services

- Reports To: Recreations Coordinator

- Summary: Responsible for the operation of the Kid Corner, by looking after kids and ensuring they are playing in a safe manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Operate the site children’s nursery / kids’ corner center

- Greet and maintain a positive attitude towards the guests

- Ensure that the safety policies, rules, and regulations are maintained within the area

- Provide the new guests orientations on how to use the area

- Ensure the upkeep of the area

- Ensure the safety of children in games room area. Follow all safety procedures

- Ensure the hygiene of the games and toys

- Event Support

- Arrange new and exciting activities with the support of the Recreations Coordinator

- Support in the execution of the events

- Communicate guests requirements to Recreational Coordinator

- Co-ordination of children’s nursery activities to recreation services

QUALIFICATIONS

- Multi-lingual skills essential with Arabic considered a distinct benefit

- Recognized first aid trained and certified

- AED Training a distinct advantage

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

- Nurse required. Pediatric Nursing background preferred
