Job Description

- Job Title: Recreation Attendant

- Department:        Community Services

- Reports To: Recreations Coordinator

- Summary: Responsible to ensure that all recreational areas operation are carried out in an efficient and timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Reception Duties

- Greet and maintain a positive attitude towards the guests

- Ensure that the safety policies, rules, and regulations are maintained within the area

- Provide the new guests orientations on how to use the area

- Ensure the upkeep of the area

- Ensure the safety of children in games room area. Follow all safety procedures.

- Holiday Cover for other colleagues when needed.

- Event Support

- Arrange new and exciting activities with the support of the Recreations Coordinator

- Support in the execution of the events

- Communicate guests requirements to Recreational Coordinator

- Team Leader on shift

- Communicate with the Supervisor regarding every month events, inventory, and supplies

- Report absences

- Report misconduct

- Coordinate with users in case of incidents and escalate accordingly

- Ensure that all areas and equipment are clean and safe

- Maintain lost and found items box or report to help desk

- Administration for recreation team

QUALIFICATIONS

- Multi-lingual skills essential with Arabic considered a distinct benefit

- Recognized first aid trained and certified

- AED Training a distinct advantage

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

- Physical Education training / certification a preference

- Experience of recreation in a Hotel Environment or equivalent
